A GOOD FRIEND

Diana's a gread friend of mine. She's tall, black-eyed and she's got long dark hair. She's quite attractive and she's got a friendly face.

Diana seems extrovertes when you first meet her , but on the inside she's quite shy.I'm rather quiet myself, but when we're together Diana's very chatty , so we're a good team. Sometimes she can be a bit bossy, but I pay atention to her then.

Diana is never two - faced and she always tells me what's on her mind.

She is my best friend

US commandos capture 4 suspected pirates in raid

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – Anti-piracy officials say U.S. commandos have captured four suspected pirates who boarded a Japanese-owned oil tanker off the coast of Oman.

A statement by the international anti-piracy task force says the 24 crew members on the MV Guanabara took refuge in a protected part of the vessel after reporting they were under attack Saturday.

A special unit from the destroyer USS Bulkeley boarded the tanker Sunday and detained the suspected pirates about 328 nautical miles southeast of Duqm in southern Oman.

The statement said no shots were fired and the merchant crew was not harmed.

Search extended for missing U.S. exchange student in Madrid

Neighbours, families and friends have been helping in the searches over the weekend for two people reported missing in Spain.

José Tomás Núñez from Arrigorriaga, Vizcaya, and the United States citizen, Austin Taylor Bice, who has vanished from his home in Madrid.

Núñez has been missing since last Sunday morning when he left his home to buy the paper and bread, but he never arrived at the bakery. He suffers from schizophrenia and left home without the medicines which control his condition and without money or his mobile phone.

Austin Taylor Bice, who is nearly two metres tall and weighs 100 kilos, is an exchange student at the Carlos III University in Madrid and went missing on Friday February 25 after seen walking home from the La Riviera discotheque after he was refused entry by the doormen for being drunk. His classmates took part in a search of campus grounds on Saturday close to where he was last seen. They have also been putting up photos across Madrid.

The search is being coordinated by Juan Gabriel Paredes, who is married to a cousin of the missing man. He says that Austin has not used his phone or any credit cards since his disappearance, and his father has commented that his son has ‘never been problematic or taken any type of drug’.

Dear Sir,

I've read a lot about school uniforms recently. I think that it's an interesting subject and I'm writing to give my opinion.

On the one hand ,it's true that uniforms aren't always stylish , but on the other hand I think that they're practical. I think that it's good if everyone wears the same thing. It means that people don't spend all of their money on clothes. What's more , it's easy to choose your clothes every morning !

In my experience , uniforms are OK.We all wear them at my school and nobody complains.
Ilook forward to hearing from you .

Yours faithfully,

GARY DUNNE:)
